On February 24th our members were once again working on the Adopt-A-Highway project to beautify our town. The prime areas around the freeway on and offramps have the most trash, unfortunately coming from the local gas stops and fast-food restaurants! Crown Valley Road is our beat!
We had a great turnout for our February meeting and program by Kathe Simons, a volunteer with Cherished, an organization to support victims of human trafficking. It was a wonderful, eye-opening presentation and a great social time with fabulous food!

Happy New Year!
Our January Outing for 2018 was supposed to have been at the Search Dog Rescue Foundation - sadly the Thomas Fire damaged many of the outbuildings on the premises (all animals were evacuated safely!). We'll do that another time, after repairs have been made and sanity returns to the facility.
So....plan B is for a day trip to Tehachapi on January 3rd, 2018 where a good time, and a good lunch, will be had by all!
