About Acton Women's Club
Interested in meeting new friends and helping our community and local schools? Then join us! Our club meetings are on the first Wednesday of the month at 11:00 am. Our meetings are generally held at the Acton Community Center, and are occasionally hosted at our members homes. We do not meet during the months of July and August and in January we have a fun, informative field trip to organizations, art galleries, music events or historical places. We are always looking for new members to help us achieve our goals of service to our community.
We are a service club of women for our small town of Acton, California. We are nestled between the Santa Clarita Valley and the Antelope Valley in our own little world, surrounded by the Sierra Pelona mountains.
Our goal is to work for the welfare of our children, our schools and our community, which we do through our non-profit fundraising events throughout the year. We place special emphasis on providing support and scholarships to qualifying students who reside in the Acton area, and financial support to our community-based schools. Currently our membership is open, and we are seeking women who would like to serve the community while making new friends and having fun at the same time.
