Acton Historical Driving Tour - March 1, 2003

Picture
Janet Winston, Lori Wolfe, Tina Steibel (organizer), Cal Steibel and Rosanne Voorhees conduct the tour in period costumes.
Come along with the Acton Women’s Club on a fun, informative tour of the Acton downtown historical sites. We have gathered a fine group of speakers to give us the fact and fiction on six or seven great sites we will see today, and much, much more. We've partnered with the High Desert Cruisers to transport our guests from point to point along the way!
Now get your best guy or girl, and let’s get rolling….
Many thanks to Alberta Bell who shared her memories of growing up in Acton since 1915, attending school there (before modern plumbing and heat), riding over an hour to get there by train from where she was living in Ravenna.
